Description: Although she began writing journals several years ago, it wasn’t until 2003 that she began to write more seriously with the idea of one day being published. She completed an evening Creative Writing course at a local school in the spring of 2005 and a Beginning Writing course online in November 2005. In March '06 her partner, Jim, put together a collection of her works and self-published them into a book as a gift for her birthday. In July 2006 Judy sold her first story to The Country Connections Magazine, and has been a contributor to that magazine several times since. She has also had stories published in Canadian Biker and Cycle Canada. In 2008 she published Celebrating Twenty-five Years at Millbrook Manor, her first book. Hearing the personal stories of the residents at Millbrook Manor sparked her interest in researching family trees and recording the many interesting stories that she feels should be passed down through the generations. What better place to start than with the wonderful memories of her partner, Jim Victor, and his ninety-six year old mother? After three years of work the book, Through Thick and Thin, A History of the Audrey and Ernie Victor Family is complete and available for purchase through Lulu.com or directly from Judy by email.
