1. Make an office that is dedicated to your Home Business. When the door is closed, you are not to be disturbed.
  2. Set up regular business hours. It is too easy to forget about time, and end up working to midnight. Or in the opposite, not putting in your needed amount of time. What are the hours of other people in your business?

  3. To break up the monotony of a small office, take your laptop to a WIFI Cafe or the library. It just might help in getting some new perspectives and new ideas.

  4. Join a group to do some networking. This will open up new ideas as well and get you away from the isolation of a small office. Many of your questions and problems have likely already been solved by one or more of the networking members.

  5. Schedule some ‘me time’ to relax and unwind.

  6. Join PAHBA, The Peterborough Area Home Business Association.
